RACIN' FOOL 2010...

READ CAREFULLY OR YOU'LL GO HOME A CRYIN' FOOL!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pup's sixth contest based on the Sprint Cup All-Star Race! The cash prize you are playing for has been set at $48.00. My advice to you? Read VERY carefully the rules that follow...

1) There is no additional entry fee. By paying for the 3rd segment, you're eligible!

2) To receive a score for the All-Star Race, you must select Nomo Freelunchez in Pack#6. Naturally, Nomo will not be in the field on Saturday night. That doesn't matter. You MUST select Nomo Freelunchez. Taking Nomo is how you officially register for this gig. No Nomo, No Points. No Points, No Cash.

3) Did I mention you'll be taking Nomo Freelunchez as your Pack#6 driver? This will keep the lazy people who do not submit a line-up between the Dover and Charlotte points races from accidently winning the money! Just remember to submit a real line-up after the All-Star Race or you'll be running around the track with Nomo for the Coke 600!

4) Pay special attention now! Your success depends on how well you follow these instructions! We will not be looking at any drivers who transfer from the Open. Only drivers that are guaranteed to be in the big show will be used for scoring. I checked with Jayski.Com and made a list of those drivers who are available. I will lay them out for you now:

Pack#1: Every driver in Pack#1 is guaranteed to be in the show. It's your choice of any of the six.

Pack#2: Only three of the drivers in this pack will receive points this year. Your choices are: Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, and Tony Stewart.

Pack#3: Only three drivers in this pack will receive points this year. Your choices are: Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jamie McMurray, and Ryan Newman. These three drivers are a lock for Saturday night. Only these three will score points in my contest.

Pack#4: Only four drivers in this pack will receive points this year. Your choices are: Joey Logano, Kasey Kahne, David Reutimann, and Brian Vickers.

Pack#5: Choice is: Brad Keselowski. Only Brad is eligible for this race going into Saturday night. Because he is the only one in Pack#5 that's a lock, EVERYONE WILL WANT TO TAKE 'BAD BRAD K'.

Pack#6: Select Nomo Freelunchez. When you see the confirmation page come up, VERIFY you have Nomo in Pack#6.

Keep in mind you will want to check all your favorite NASCAR sites to be sure the drivers I've listed above are indeed going to run. They are eligible for this race. They do not have to run.

5) No drivers will be added. Neither the Open Winner nor 2nd Place Finisher nor the 'Fan Vote Winner' will receive points in this year's contset. The cut-off for picks is 9:00PM Eastern on Saturday, May 22nd. Have you kept up with me so far? Good!

6) Now we get down to the nitty gritty. Your goal is to pick the highest finishing driver from each pack. Only drivers whose names appear above will receive points in this race. Let's see how the points will be awarded!

1st : 200
2nd : 160
3rd : 130
4th : 120
5th : 110

6th : 100
7th : 90
8th : 80
9th : 70
10th: 60

11th: 50
12th: 45
13th: 40
14th: 35
15th: 30

16th: 25
17th: 20
18th: 15
19th: 10
20th: 5

Lower than 20th: 0

7) The money will be awarded as such: If we have one winner, they will receive $48. A tie between two players means $24 will go to both teams. A three-way tie will see $16 going to each team. But this is where tie-breaking ends, my friends. Should we have four or more players end up in a tie for first place, Pup will hang onto the $48 for another week...

Let's say more than three teams tie for 1st. Those teams, and ONLY those teams, will have a one race shoot-out using the Coke 600, the longest race on the Cup schedule! The highest scoring team will collect the $48 prize and the others get bubkus! Nada. Nuthin'. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

8) Should any funky situations come up that I have not covered on this page, I will make what I hope will prove to be a fair decision. As always, I will have the final word. It is, after all, a free contest, so let's keep everything in perspective.

9) I'll remind you again. All of you who register for this hip contest by taking Nomo Freelunchez will want to return to the site the Tuesday following the race and submit a real line-up. Failure to do so and you'll be running five or less drivers. DOH!!!

10) I love you guys. It's not really a rule. But I hated to end the page with nine stinkin' rules.

Good luck and have fun! - Pup
