Mon Jan 2 - I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and have decided after taking a one year break to reflect on all things NASCAR, I have decided 2010 was our last season together and I have no plans to start back up in 2012 or beyond. Thank you all so much for all the fun we had over that 12 year run! There were some interesting finishes for sure. Enjoy the racing and have a healthy 2012! - Stan - Pup

Mon Oct 17 - Hey Pup! Hope you look at this occassionally. I sure miss YOUR league. It just isn't the same. I wish you and the family the very best. Hope, perhaps in 2012, you might consider a league again? The offer still stands if you're out in western Kansas. - Bowtie Bros

Fri Feb 18 - Pup - Peace man...let us know if you start this thing up again. Hate even thinking of going somewhere else. Fox Valley is where for now...don't be a stranger. - Blowdatar
Tue Feb 1 - No problem. I absolutely knew you meant well, LC. I just wanted to make it clear that if anyone was getting their hopes up that they should not wait and see if what you were suggesting happens. It's getting close to Daytona and those that are still fantasy racing nuts should get a move on! - Pup
Tue Feb 1 - Stan, thanks for the response. Never intended that that the suggestion was to sell or replace the site. Only to step up (you have many faithful followers) and preserve or help, as a temporary substitute for the best racing league I have been a part of since 2004. And beleive me, it does not pain me to have to say that I don't watch too many TV shows period (unless its the Weather channel, Nascar and/or various other sports). Thank you for running a fine league for so many years, Best Wishes. -LC - Lord Chesterfield
Tue Feb 1 - Just a quick word to wise, there is no way I will be training a replacement or selling the software that I use for PitPup.com so please to not get your hopes up. Taking over by committee?? I think someone has been watching way too many TV shows! Sounds like a cool idea, but in all honesty, that won't happen. And believe me, it pains me to have to say that. - Pup
Tue Feb 1 - Lord Chesterfield !!! That's a great idea, has Stan giving you an answer? - Turn Left Racing
Sun Jan 30 - I have narrowed my selection down to 3 sites. Havn't decided which one to use yet. If you are interested, here are the ones I have found. chadsfantasynascar.com & fantasyracein.com & cfracing.com I'm leaning toward trying two of them. cfracing.com and chadsfastasynascar.com I did alot of searching the past few days. These are my best finds. Good luck to all of you where ever you end up at. - Vitesse Et Puissance
Sun Jan 30 - Hello Everyone, Im sure you all have received Stan's email telling you about my Fantasy Racing League. Its very small and based out of my home email & Excel program. I will be more than happy to explain all the rules and fun things if you want to give me a shout. My home email is rwnut@verizon.net - 2RW Racing Inc.
Sat Jan 29 - Maybe we as a league should step up and take over by committee...until someone stepped up or Pup came back. Would Stan let us use the site and train someone on the data entry and the accounting? - Lord Chesterfield

Fri Nov 26 - Thanks to Pup for another great NASCAR season. Interesting to note that none of the top 4 OCCers were ever in the Top 4 before. That's what helps to make PITPUP great in that everyone can win! Happy and healthy holidays and New Year to all! - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Thu Nov 25 - Congrats Jersey Joe on a very strong finish to win the OCC and DK for winning segment 6. See ya'll in Feb - Blossom & Waterslagers
Thu Nov 25 - Happy Thanksgiving to all you crazy PitPuppies and congratulations to DK Racing for winning Segment #6. Kudos to the top four teams in the OCC: V-Lane Jersey Joe, Blossom & Waterslagers, #24 Refuse To Lose, and LL Speedsters. You did very well and your efforts will be rewarded! Enjoy the holidays and be courteous out there on those highways... - Pup

Wed Nov 3 - Wow, as long as i've been playing here on Pup, this is the WORST i have EVER, EVER done. From this point on, i'm picking the 3rd driver in each pack. Can't do any worse. - Rapidd88 Racing
Tue Nov 2 - Wow - there were 3 teams in my division that didn't pick a 6th driver and finished better than me! UGH! Crashadega!! - MAC Racing
Tue Nov 2 - Howdy Everybody! Due to a little family emergency, I was not able to post up the results for Talladega on Monday evening by my self-imposed deadline of 11:55pm ET. Soooooo, I will get those posted tonight without further delay. Meanwhile, what an interesting finish for Clint and Kevin!!! - Pup
Mon Nov 1 - Well it turned out Hornish wasn't to bad, I just like Chad as a driver. He made a good showing for his first cup race though...Junior sure bit me in the rearend!!! I can't do anything right in this last segment!!!! ARGHH - Turn Left Racing
Mon Nov 1 - Truth be told, with less than 5 races to go, it's a pretty good bet that no additional names will be added to the driver groups for 2010. If I were to answer your question directly, it would be because Chad has never run at Talladaga and there were plenty of Pack #6 Drivers to choose from with much more experience. Hope this helps... - Pup
Sun Oct 31 - Pup,Why no Chad Mcumbee in group 6?? - Turn Left Racing
Sat Oct 30 - Man, I thought 'Dega was supposed to be the Wild Card, crap shoot race. The MOP group scores at M'Ville ranged from 681 to 581 or something pathetic like that. U-G-L-Y! Like looking at Outlaw in a mirror! - Mopar Blaze
Tue Oct 12 - Bummer! That's as close as I've ever come to winning a division. Congrats Classic Rock. On to the next segment - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Wed Oct 6 - Thanks, Torque. All better now... - Pup
Wed Oct 6 - PUP, you skipped Cal and went to Char on the tools page. - Torque
Mon Oct 4 - Yep. my friend and I enjoy this league Gambler's Anonymous Funds, but we sure can't seem to pick any winners. Yes, we are having fun and laughing at each other. - Bowtie Bros
Sat Oct 2 - Well, Have At It Boys! - Mopar Blaze
Fri Oct 1 - Me too, i seem to have become an expert at it this year.............LOL. - Rapidd88 Racing
Tue Sep 28 - I could probably assist on how to pick a crappy team, too!! lol - MAC Racing
Tue Sep 28 - That's funny, Blow... I don't REMEMBER placing an ad for an assistant in the Help Wanted section!!! - Pup
Tue Sep 28 - I feel like Jimmy Spencer coming out of a Dunkin Donuts at 3 a.m. and Kurt Busch is sitting on the hood of my '72 Vega flipping me the bird! Nice 586 this week. I will be giving lessons on how to pick drivers next week for anyone interested... - Blowdatar
Sun Sep 26 - Another big week. Think you front-runners are in trouble - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Sun Sep 19 - I'm always having fun! Especially when Outlaw and I took almost identical teams, except for 2 drivers, both of mine beating both of his. So he ain't gonna catch me at that rate - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Sep 13 - Are we having fun yet? - Bowtie Bros II
Mon Sep 13 - sad thing, he wasnt alone... - Blowdatar
Mon Sep 13 - THAT'S MY BOY! - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Sep 13 - I like being in Japan again. Dad wants me to ask how Arkansas is? - Jr Dominators
Mon Sep 13 - And the individual who picked said driver has cute names he likes to call himself, like Big Dawg, Head Puppy in Charge...funny things like that. And he's NAVY! - Mopar Blaze
Mon Sep 13 - Here is a hint, his last name is Sorenson... - Blowdatar
Mon Sep 13 - THe first week i done any good in awhile finally broke 800 how s Daulton llike Japan - Outlaw Racin
Sun Sep 12 - FYI: The driver picked wasn't Ward Burton - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Sun Sep 12 - Outlaw-Think you might have kicked my @$$ this week, but I'm gonna take a shot anyway. Someone picked a driver that wasn't even in the race, can you believe that?!? Didn't say the shot would be at you now did I - Mopar Blaze
Sat Sep 11 - Hey Stan, Looks like in the future yo may have to add ol Texas Terry to the drivers list again. Good news is I got my drivers picked this week in time !!! - Turn Left Racing
Sat Sep 11 - I did so poorly, yet still managed to beat a few unmentioned teams (M-O-P) - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Sat Sep 11 - Glad to see I'm not the only one who forgets! - Mopar Blaze
Tue Sep 7 - Dang -- eating too many crabs forgot to change my pics :( oh well on to Richmond - Slow & Steady
Mon Sep 6 - @#$%^%$@@# !!!!! Was at the Lake and my laptop would not get the internet !!! got home to late to pick a team!!!! bad way to start a new segment..........NOOoooooooooo - Turn Left Racing
Sun Sep 5 - Guys are lucky that I was on vacation the last few weeks for Mich/Bristol. Good news is I'm back in Japan, Daulton is with me. But that means he takes back control of his team. See if that's a plus or not - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Tue Aug 24 - I struggled mightily as to how I was going to reshuffle the driver groups for the fifth segment. After two days of staring everyone's recent activity and the upcoming tracks, I've decided to let it roll. That's right. There will be absolutely no change to the driver groups before we start the fifth segment. Part of what convinced me is that in the two previous segments, the winning team had scored upwards of 5000 points in six races. Your fourth segment champ did not crack 4700 points. This tells me that the mix was difficult and difficult is GOOD! The Top 10 teams finished less than 100 points apart and the Top 5 teams finished exactly 41 points apart. This was indeed some tight racing. Let's see if we get the same results over the next six races. Good luck to everyone and remember! We have two weeks between races. If you have friends who want to join us, NOW is the PERFECT time to get them involved with the league... - Pup
Tue Aug 24 - Congrats to Segment #4 Champion, Bum Racing!!! They had to climb over a handful of teams to claim the top spot, and yes, the fact that it was Bristol probably helped a little, but HEY! That's Racin'... - Pup
Sun Aug 22 - What a segment . 100 point lead not enough in the final race who would of thought . - Bum Racing
Tue Aug 10 - I may have lost 3rd place, but I'm still ahead of that 5th team. And how ironic, I'm owed a check this week, lol. Still debating about races, I'm gonna be stateside for the next 2 weeks, could try to make Michigan or Bristol. Bristol is so tempting, but my family might get offended. Do I go or not? - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Aug 9 - Yeah, what he ( I ) said. Logged under wrong team, lol - Mopar Blaze
Mon Aug 9 - Shoot, you know how long it's been since you wrote me a check for any of my teams?!? Wait, guess that's my fault isn't it.... - Jr Dominators
Sun Aug 8 - That 5th team is the team that writes your checks... ; ) - Pup
Tue Aug 3 - MOP Update - Lost this race by 5 pts. But it's still my 3 teams at the top for the Segment, still close with 4th team, but that 5th team is OUT to LUNCH. Anybody know who that team is? - Mopar Blaze
Fri Jul 30 - Where's Pocano Tool Page? HELP!!!!!!!!!! - Rapidd88 Racing
Tue Jul 13 - Just a quick shout to let you know the lone 'Buy Me Team' has been purchased and renamed to 'Almond Racing'. Good luck to Chris in Division 4... - Pup
Sat Jul 10 - That's all!?That's the best the Navy could come up with? - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Fri Jul 9 - Hey, how come nobody ever gives Congrats to Outlaw? Oh, I see, it's for the WINNERS - Mopar Blaze
Wed Jul 7 - Big Congrats to Blossom and Waterslagers great job man - Outlaw Racin
Wed Jul 7 - Say, I just wanted to say nice job to Racing Rules who scored a 917 at Daytona this past Saturday night. This propelled them to 12th overall to finish the segment. Nowhere near that mystifying 5002, but a nice score at a track where maybe 13 cars finished the race? LOL! - Pup
Tue Jul 6 - Congrats to Blossom & Waterslagers on the great segment.........How about letting up on the rest of us a little bit.......................LOL. - Rapidd88 Racing
Tue Jul 6 - Congrats to Segment #3 Champion Blossom & Waterslagers! While they did not set a new six race record for most points, they DID crack the magic line of 5000 with 5002 points. I believe they are only the 3rd team to do so. I have set the new driver groups and you are able to pick your pilots for Chicago. I will be shuffling the Team Owners (that's YOU) either Thursday or Friday so print any reports you'd like in the next day or two. - Pup
Sat Jul 3 - Let's all hope a first year rookie can win this segment.... - Wrecking Havoc
Thu Jul 1 - My pleasure, B&W. By the way, you're doing an awesome job your first year in the league. Glad you found a new home. - Pup
Thu Jul 1 - Thanks for the shoutout Pup, After leading this segment for the first five races it would be a shame to be taken out at a Plate Race. Any of the top 10 teams can win this segment, I know how strong a player Mickey (Cross-Eyed Racing) is, last year Michael and I battled Mickey at the now defunct Thunder site. I would sign a contract right now to pick any six drivers who would still be running at the end of Sat. nights race. Good Luck to All - Blossom & Waterslagers
Wed Jun 30 - Well, it's not sucking for SOMEBODY! Has anyone noticed that Blossom & Waterslagers is sitting atop the standings with 4,212 points and has an excellent chance to be the new ''highest points scored in a six race segment'' champion here at the site. I keep trying to make this tougher and tougher and all y'all just go out and make me look stupid. Funny thing, though. Hammerdown Racing may have something to say about all this! It promises to be a great showdown at a great location on a great night. Good luck to everyone who has a chance to bring home the big bucks. - Pup
Tue Jun 29 - Me either,....This segment has really sucked...........!!! - Rapidd88 Racing
Mon Jun 28 - NOT ME! - Jr Dominators
Sun Jun 27 - So... ah... who thinks they won? : ) - Pup
Tue Jun 22 - Not C or C story, just road course story. For the second time, I thought I had a lock, 6 drivers in the top 11 positions. That's dang good. But I didn't win! Few years back, had 6 in the top 8 and tied for 4th. First and second tied with 6 in the top 7. - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Jun 21 - Hey does anyone have any interesing Champ or Chump stories they'd like to share this week? I'd love to hear them! - Pup
Mon Jun 21 - Nice score of 938 for Ed! This was the highest score on the day. Congrats to all six of our division winners... - Pup
Mon Jun 21 - Yehaw! Jim of GladuRacing has won at Infineon. Jim, I know it's been a while, bruddah, but I've had my eye on you and it's nice to see you at the top of the charts, if only for one week, hehe! Way to keep those kids in line over there in Division #6... - Pup
Sun Jun 20 - It appears 22 teams had Jimmie Johnson and Robby Gordon today. That's quite a 1-2 punch from the #1 and #6 Packs. Stay tuned to see how all this shakes out! - Pup
Sun Jun 20 - FYI: Jan Mangussen and Mattias Ekstrom were added to your Garage at 9:30am ET today. - Pup
Wed Jun 16 - Yeah, but you at least posted your scores to it, to show that you were the Top Dog. Now you're too embarrassed to do that, you have to do it in private groups so that nobody can verify how bad you're doing - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Wed Jun 16 - Hey Gambler.... FYI: I have NEVER run in the OCC. You may recall I choose not to collect any money when I win a prize here at the site. Once I won the championship and mailed $1000 to the 2nd pace team. And yes, it hurt. It hurt BAD! But that's how this ol' dog does things around here. Meanwhile, send me emails, keep the $3.00 for the phone calls. You'll need it to buy that handkerchief you'll be crying in at season's end. (Insert smiley face HERE! ---> : ) ) - Pup
Wed Jun 16 - I hear ya, Rapid! There was a time (you can look it up) I had the highest score in the league for a couple of years in a row (or close to it). Now, I'm the Bobby Labonte of my own league!!!! (And that ain't right...) - Pup
Wed Jun 16 - How ironic, last years Mich. race i had the highest points for the race. And one year later i have the second worst. - Rapidd88 Racing
Tue Jun 15 - Could have run Ward, he'd have gotten me just as many points. Oh wait, he isn't even included anymore on the list of possible drivers that make the field once in a blue moon - Mopar Blaze
Tue Jun 15 - Point taken, but I also ran Nomo for 2 weeks, so there's your 50 point lead. I looked at the OCC which covers the entire year, but low and behold, you were too scared to run in that this year. And I ain't callin' you for nothing, it costs like $3 a min from over here! - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Jun 14 - You better take another look at who's atop the MOP Standings, mah racin' bruddah! When you claim the top spot, CALL ME! - Pup
Mon Jun 14 - That should say this one was not so good but did finish above somebody, named PokeyPuppyRacing - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Jun 14 - Well, at least 2 of my teams did, this one was so good Did finish about somebody though, PokeyPuppyRacing or something, I didn't look that close - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Jun 14 - I did it again, my teams were left over from the 600 race and I beat YOU! - Mopar Blaze
Sun Jun 13 - Landon Cassill was added to your GARAGE page at 9:18am ET -- Good luck with THAT one! - Pup
Sun Jun 6 - I can t even pick 6 cars to finish the race here lately i have been sucking but what can you do i ll keep trying ill get it turned around at some point - Outlaw Racin
Sun Jun 6 - Outlaw, I was gonna ask that last week's race be thrown out since I got drunk and forgot to reset my team from the All Star race, but then I saw that I beat you even with Nomo Freelunchz as my last driver! - Mopar Blaze
Fri Jun 4 - Paul down in Augusta, Georgia has purchased Pup's ''Buy This Team'' entry that earned 703 points at Charlotte. Good luck with your new team, Paul! - Pup
Sun May 30 - OK, all you crazy Pit Puppies.... I'm going to divide up all the teams into six divisions instead of the five. This means our division winners will take home $70 instead of $120, as outlined on the PRIZES page. I was emailed by many that all y'all wanted to get back to as close to 25 teams per division as possible... that 30-31 was just a bit much. All I ask is we keep the membership at the required 150+ teams. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TONIGHT!!! - Pup
Wed May 26 - Good call from the pit box, TLR! - Pup
Tue May 25 - Either that, or Pampers. - Rapidd88 Racing
Sun May 23 - I think Kyle Busch needs to have Kleenex for a sponsor on his car!!! - Turn Left Racing

Sun May 23 - I have worked up the unofficial results for the All Star Race... it appears we have a single winner and this team had the 'PERFECTO' of Hamlin / Kurt Busch / Newman / Logano / Keselowski for a sweet score of 590. It was a tie for second with two teams scoring 550 points. I will have the full results up later on today or tomorrow. So who was your winner? How 'bout that Gator Racing!!! - Pup
Sat May 22 - Abso-freakin-lutely, Viper!!!!!!!!!!!!! What if someone picked Bobby for Dover but then fell off the grid for the All Star race and accidently won the event without even trying??? When you choose Nomo, you're telling me you're not a brain-dead knuckle head and you actually registered OFFICIALLY! - Pup
Sat May 22 - Pup - Did we really need Nomo this year? Bobby Labonte is in Pack 6. - Viper
Tue May 18 - A big congrats to V-Lane Jersey Joe, for winning the seg. with a record score of 5,047, That's an averge of 841. Un F**kin Real. - Rapidd88 Racing

Tue May 18 - And speaking of 'Jersey Joe', I will be paying out two of these conditional prizes. One to Jerockan and one to Old G Racing. (See PRIZES page for complete details). And the winner of May Madness is Chris Almond, owner of 'Almond Racing' who after a terrible start managed to finish 11th overall and 2nd in his division. How close was the May Madness final race? It was Almond Racing over Blowdatar 819 to 816. With a $30 payout, that's $10 bucks a point! GeezOhMan!!!!!!! - Pup

Mon May 17 - And speaking of 'Jersey Joe', I will be paying out two of these conditional prizes. One to Jerockan and one to Old G Racing. (See PRIZES page for complete details). And the winner of May Madness is Chris Almond, owner of 'Almond Racing' who after a terrible start managed to finish 11th overall and 2nd in his division. How close was the May Madness final race? Mon May 17 - I guess it's true. Records WERE made to be broken. Congratulations to V-Lane Jersey Joe with his awesome six race score of 5,047 points. Last year I thought Lord Chesterfield had set a mark that would not be touched again with his whopping score of 4,943 points. Jersey Joe is the site's new 'Big Dawg'! - Pup
Mon May 10 - Wowzers. Four 900+ scores in Divisions 1, 3, and 4. SIX 900+ scores in Division 2. Imagine last year's Segment #1 Champ, Lord Chesterfield's plight. Scores a monster 928 in Division #2 and finishes in 6th place. SIXTH PLACE! Rut Roh! I feel a stat coming on. Here are the average scores for the first five races in Seg#2: 744-Phoenix, 695-Texas, 702-Tally, 779-Richmond, and 800-Darlington. Haven't paid real close attention, but I'm thinking it's been a while since we averaged 800+ as a league for a single race... if it's EVER happened. Will have to keep an eye out for this. - Pup
Mon May 10 - OK, you got me, MAC. Talladega was awesome. As a fan, I'm just happy that we're seeing some great races this year. Getting back to PitPup numbers, last year, Renegades racked up an 897 at Darlington. His six drivers, if in six separate packs, would have scored only 745 points on Saturday. History is nice, but geezohman, you really gotta be on your toes to score big points this year... League-wise, I think we're going to see a lot of surprises over the final four segments. It's been a blast to be your host for the first two! Next up? Dover. It could get ugly!! - Pup
Mon May 10 - Loved the race, Pup. But so far this season I thought Talladega was the best! - MAC Racing
Mon May 10 - Hey Gang! Just for a minute, forget your personal performances at Darlington. If you watched the race, was it or was it not one of the best races of the season? They've all been good, but I especially enjoyed the way this one played out. It was really good racing. - Pup
Sun May 9 - c'mon mudslinger only 75pts behind ! keep diggin' with 1 to go ! we need that dover money lol ! dont look in your rearview cause im right there ! - Killerbees17
Sun May 9 - Another interesting note on Darlington... nobody scored less than 600 points. My good friend, Joe at Team Cheese Racing (TCR) came in dead last with a 605. - Pup
Sun May 9 - And the Darlington Devil for this race? How 'bout that GladuRacing with his mean '666' score. Jim, congrats. It pays, um... nuthin'. Sorry. - Pup
Sun May 9 - May Madness update... the field has been stripped down from 10 teams to just 2 for Dover. The remaining two? How 'bout Almond Racing and RedneckRacing?? Yeppir, it's Nuts versus Necks for the $30 prize! - Pup
Sun May 9 - Darlington too tough to tame... MY FANNY! Four of the five divisions had MULTIPLE 900+ scores (only division 5 did not). I'm pretty sure this is the first time ever that every division winner cracked 900 points! Top two teams scored 948s. David Reutimann was the missing link for a 956. I suppose when all the favorites do well, this can happen. That leaves Dover to serve as the 'shake up' track next week. V-Lane Jersey Joe will take a commanding 131 point lead to Delaware. Can #24 Refuse To Lose or ANYONE catch him in the segment's last race? - Pup
Sun May 9 - what a week seems like no matter how good i do just cant get to the top good luck to the top 3 in my division next week im on your bumpers almond racing coming to get cha - Almond Racing
Sun May 9 - Man, I was one driver off of having the perfecto, thought I was in good shape. 12th in my division. I had all 3 teams at 720 or better, best I've done all year, and I still get smoked. Damn tough competition here - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Sat May 8 - David Ragan is starting to come back.....not to worry!! - MAC Racing
Sat May 8 - Lap 103 - Hornish (on 29 teams) is in 15th... P6 most popular David Ragan (89 teams) is in 35th. OUCH! - Pup
Sat May 8 - Lap 51 - You may be asking yourself who was the most picked driver in each pack. I'll tell you. Gordo in P1 on 104 teams, Hamlin in P3 on 88 teams. Ragan in P6 on 84 teams. Burton in P2 on 71 teams. Bad Brad (Kes) in P5 on 71 teams. Finally, Newman in P4 appearing on 61 teams. JUST THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW... Carry On! - Pup
Sat May 8 - Lap 45 - Vickers to the lead. Only two teams selected Brian Vickers: PedalToTheMetal and Jr Dominators... will it hold up? - Pup
Sat May 8 - Aren't ya' all gonna feel STUPID if I end picking the winners, trashed as I am - Gambler's Anonymous Funds

Sat May 8 - Question: Who else has been drunk for 10 days straight, blowing mulitple paychecks on foreign females? Just asking! Don't tell my ex or my fianceee, lol! - Mopar Blaze
Sun May 2 - And as long as we're throwing around some love... Outlaw and Mopar, I finally caught you buggers! Ya'll best be on your toes these next two races... - Pup
Sun May 2 - Just want to give a little shout out to Wes and Craig's Crew! We've run 10 races and this ol' Pup has won 2 of them. Normally I would take the time to rub it in and brag my butt off, but sadly, in those other 8 races, I'm usually finishing towards the bottom and... in fact, have finished dead last in two of them. So me? Points racing? Heck, no! It's all or nothing for this old dog. Good luck to Wes and Crew over the remaining 26 races. I don't think I'm done yet. WINK WINK!! - Pup
Fri Apr 30 - Whew! Just watched Brad K. win the race at Richmond tonight. Great finish! G-W-C but he got it done. I'm a Ford man thru and thru, but I gotta tell you. I really enjoy watching Brad run in the two series this year. Good luck to everyone tomorrow night in the 4th race of the segment. - Pup
Wed Apr 28 - Dartboard?? Dartboard!! (OK, so maybe that is true!) As for the $30 vs. $20... hey! A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, right? - Pup
Mon Apr 26 - Dartboard, I was at Bowman-Gray Stadium Watching the modifieds get rained out. Going back next weekend so maybe I can repeat. Actually, maybe I'm still a loser, This knocked me out of your mini-contest, and I could have won $30 in it, so net loss $10 - Bristol Bomber
Mon Apr 26 - Wow, what a race. You have to go all the way down to 16th place to find our first Pack#1 driver. Tony Stewart scored 120 points and Biff and Gordo were not far behind with 117 and 102 points, respectively. Still, our race winners in each of the five divisions managed to do pretty well this week! To them I say... congrats... and, how did you do it??? - Pup
Mon Apr 26 - John, sorry for the delay on the Tools page. I did get it updated on Sunday morning, but truth be told, I had totally forgotten about it. And I can't blame it on my trip to Florida, I was already back by then! Nowhere on my site do I guarantee it will be available... STILL! I'm pretty good about having it updated by Tuesday or Wednesday before the race. Just kind of an added bonus I offer here in Pupsville... Next time I'm late... email me on say, a Thursday and verbally kick the !@#%^ out of me and I'll get that done earlier. That said, hope your camping trip was fun!!!! - Pup
Sat Apr 24 - Hey Stan can you get the tools page updated please!! Camping at dega in the rain right now hoping the stronger storms pass us by - #24 Refuse To Lose

Tue Apr 20 - OK! Today's official results have Carl Edwards with a point total of 64. I used 69 points when I posted late Monday night. I will now recalculate the results and standings for Texas and should have the updates loaded by 10pm ET. Anyone with Carl Edwards will notice their scores have dropped by 5 points since last night. Don't flip out or anything! : ) - Pup

When you get back you should consider joining the American Legion, I've been a member for 31 consecutive years and they do a bunch for all veterans and their families. Anyway get back safe and soon buddy again God Bless you! Jeff Campbell - Turn Left Racing

Sat Apr 10 - A quick league update. I currently have 140 paid teams for Segment #2. In order to divide everyone up into 6 segments instead of 5, I need a 150 ''paid'' teams at the time of the shuffle. I have a whole bunch of promises... whether these folks come through or not is another story. I base the number of divisions on the actual paid entries. We will run 5 divisions in this second segment. Good luck to everyone! - Pup
Fri Apr 9 - Thanks OR. The dartboard was lucky for me last session. Fun to run with the Big Dogs for a change but I am ready to return to my usual place back in the pack now. - Philip D Tank, Jr

Wed Mar 31 - Outlaw - Picked up a RW here, so I still got one front running (top 5-10) team. I'll hang in for the rest of the year, not just giving no trophy to Jimmie either yet. Pup, I need to get you my new address, it's a dosie. You've seen it before actually, I joined with you 8 years ago when I was here the first time. - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Wed Mar 31 - I left the country because of you? That's...funny actually. Nice shot! He's excited, just has to wait for August, that's not cool. Neither are my scores, they are pathetic. I'll admit it. Did get up at 1 am (2 days in a row) to watch the race. Had a few naps, but I caught most of it - Mopar Blaze

Tue Mar 30 - Good job............ Cross-Eyed Racing - Flasher

Mon Mar 29 - What part of ''We'll end the segment with two short tracks. This will give mid pack teams a chance to make up ground! '' didn't you understand? Wowzers! I'm working my fingers to the bone tonight so hang in there. Until then, somebody roll the ''Thrill of victory... Agony of defeat'' footage, won't you? - Pup
Mon Mar 29 - Sure, Joe! I'll need $500 in small, unmarked bills... - Pup
Mon Mar 29 - Hi Pup, Is there any chance of making a Teams page for the OCC similar to the Teams option in My Garage? This would save time for people tracking the OCC by showing other people's drivers without searching through the Home page list of teams for the OCC leaders. Thanks. - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Sun Mar 28 - A quick shout to all the top pit puppies... good luck and I hope you win your division! As for the TOP prize, it will be close. The top five teams are all in the 3900s points-wise. It will be close and I'm sure I'll hear the moans and groans all the way here in New Jersey. Race hard. Have fun. Good luck. - Pup

Thu Mar 25 - Well, stuck in Seattle for another day. Have to pick my teams today, supposed to make it to Japan by Sat afternoon, but don't know when I'll have internet acess again. That's my excuse for this week anyway, lol - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 22 - 3 year tour Outlaw, same as last time, since I am taking my son with me. Fly on Wed-Thurs-Fri-Sat, so won't get to watch Martinsville. Not like making my picks on Wed will make a big difference, lol. Could just as well pick them blind this year - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 22 - Friend said he had a good time, I at least did get to watch it on TV. That way I could see my picks crash one by one. Is it too early to start saying ''Wait until next year'' yet? - Mopar Blaze
Sun Mar 21 - I can't remember if anyone has ever had the perfect score before now, so please, if someone has done it, email me so I can update this post... but as it stands now, Art from Cherry Hill, New Jersey and his ''Pedal To The Metal'' entry has hit the perfect score! Art has scored a 910 at Bristol. While it is not the highest score for one of our races, I believe it's the first time a team owner has picked the highest scoring driver from each group. Nice job! - Pup
Sun Mar 21 - Jeff Burton or Mark Martin your winner today i'm hopin to close on the leaders - Outlaw Racin
Sat Mar 20 - ''When they knock you down, you not only have to get up, but you have to make it clear that you won't be knocked down a second time.'' a quote by Carl Yastrzemski (Maybe Brad Keselowski read this and took it to heart?) - Pup
Sat Mar 20 - Sorry man didn t know how long you gonna be gone drop me a line while your gone i'll send you a care package be safe man take care - Outlaw Racin
Fri Mar 19 - Dang Outlaw, that was an absolutely low blow. In one post, you made up for ALL the Ward jokes over the years and then some. I outprocess the base Monday morning at 8 am, so I had to sell my tickets. Heck, I'm sitting in an empty house until Wednesday, I may not even be able to watch it on TV. Way to make a grown man cry! - Mopar Blaze
Wed Mar 17 - Bristol baby my favorite track on the schedule it's gonna be interesting for the next couple of weeks Bristol and Martinsville and so many people alive for the money doesn t get any better than this and Haynes i'll try not to choke like you did last year sure wish i was gonna be there to watch it live Mopar you going to Bristol ? - Outlaw Racin
Sat Mar 13 - Read yesterday's post and say it with me, ''Oooooh, the drama!'' - Pup
Fri Mar 12 - Say... is it me or are there only 134 points separating the top 27 teams in the standings? Ladies and Gents, let me be so bold as to say where else can you go fantasy racing and have one team in six still in the running for the big bucks with two races to go? I challenge you to tell me where! If you have no short track game, and you're in the top 27, you still have one week to do some homework. Otherwise, it's going to be a slugfest. I'll freeze the standings here and compare them in two races to see who ends up where. Let there be no mistake about it. There is zero room for error when you sit down to pick your next two line-ups. Good luck to all!!! - Pup
Wed Mar 10 - Hey Outlaw........Cough...Cough...Cough...Dont Choke.......And Dont think too much on this off week..... - Haynes Racing
Wed Mar 10 - Michael, feel free to support whoever you wish. Thick, thin, whatever. But if I was driving the 99 car on Sunday and I saw the replay of the tangle with the #12/#20, I would be man enough to admit that if the wreck was not completely my fault, it was certainly more than 50% my fault. #12 car never drifted up the track. #99 made a mistake and he needed to suck it up and admit to himself and those around him that he blew it. That said, even if the #12 WAS at fault, Atlanta was no place to punt another driver. And for the record, I was disappointed when Carl did not win at Tally last year. But I saw the racing for what it was. Good clean racing. Carl tried to block and he didn't get it done. And someone correct me if I'm wrong, I seem to remember the #12 car holding his line at Tally and #99 came down on him. Just like at Atlanta. Is Brad an angel? Heck no. Is he going to make more mistakes? Absolutely. But let's not automatically throw the kid under the bus versus experienced drivers. - Pup
Wed Mar 10 - By the way, I must say I'm a little disappointed. What happened to standing by your man, support thru thick & thin, not being a fair weather friend? Maybe, and I say maybe, Carl made a bad decision, poor judgement, in a flash moment. Everybody makes mistakes, even TIGER. Got to look at the person as a whole, their history. Let's look at Brad's past history of choices, shall we... - Mopar Blaze
Wed Mar 10 - Pup is just trying to come out of the closet, he's really a Jeff Gordon/Hendrick fan and is using this as an excuse to admit it! - Mopar Blaze
Wed Mar 10 - Pup, you're absolutely correct about Carl. There's a right place and time to do those kind of things. Carl simply made a bad decission. He destoryed a car, could have seriously hurt a fellow driver or worse hurt a fan in the stands. I hope Carl reflects on how lucky he was for a bad decission. Thanks! - Bowtie Bros
Wed Mar 10 - Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Bowtie Bros. And while I have the floor, let me state for the record I have no problem with drivers retailiating against someone they feel wronged them. I do have a problem with when and where and under which circumstances. Bristol and Martinsville are excellent places to dump some fool with little chance for personal injury. Atlanta... and not being on the same lap... no, make that 156 laps down, is not the place to get your revenge. I stand by my original statement that I am no longer a fan of Mr. Edwards as he shows me a complete lack of intelligence when it comes to playing the game. This guy has no class and no clue how to git 'er done on the track. Now... if only Brad were wheeling a Ford Fusion in the Cup series! - Pup
Wed Mar 10 - Hey Pup! Thanks again for such a great league. I enjoy all the chatter about last weekend. Rubbin is racin and racing is rubbin. I and two other fellas owned a late model for a number of years. I learned how to hang a left quarter panel and right front fender pretty darn quick. Always seemed to come home with some kind of rubber on the ole body somewhere. Learned how to repaint and letter a car too! Great times when you're young and single. Race Friday, Saturday and Sunday, barely left a guy time to drink a barley pop. Yep, the good ole days. Am I truly glad they are behind me. I couldn't handle it today. I wonder why Nascar doesn't let two good ole boys take it outside the fence like in the old days? I guess I'm just reflecting like most jar heads do from time to time. Thanks again for another great season, just wish we were a little more competative. By the way Magic Bus, I think you need to change your name back to short bus like it was when the three of us made suc - Bowtie Bros
Tue Mar 9 - I'm ok with it now, I never objected to the old way. I do agree with more points for wins, without a doubt. Thing I hate is the top 35. You want interesting, see racing for wins, bet Gordon (my driver) does real hard if misses a race week prior due to qualifying. Go to any dirt track, touring Late Model Series. They give 2, maybe 4 provisionals a night. Top fastest cars qualify or race their way in, period. Means the local drivers can get in against the top pros by out running them - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 9 - Which reminds me, what do you all think of the Chase format? I think it has been the downfall of Cup racing because teams are too concerned about racing for points and not for wins. What I'd like to see NASCAR do, is put more of a premium on a win, maybe an extra 50-point bonus. What do you all think? - Rogers Racing
Tue Mar 9 - I'm actually glad they didn't suspend Carl. While I don't agree with his timing on taking on Brad, I'm glad that NASCAR has decided to let the drivers police themselves. NASCAR started to get to corporate and too predictable in the last 5 or 6 years and this will make it exciting again. - Rogers Racing
Tue Mar 9 - Well, what do you all think of Nascar? They stood by their statement of position at the start of the year, that's for sure - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 9 - There are several things that make that not the best time/place. Knowing it would be seen as retaliation since it was so immediate, the speeds, the track. And I think he changed the outcome of the race, maybe not the winner, but the rest of the rundown for sure. I was looking forward to seeing JPM catch Busch and go door to door. But it's all a conspiracy, JR went from 30+ to 15th, my driver Gordon same up to 18th, so I can't complain - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Mopar - Brad was due......but not when Carl is 156? laps down....If Carl were racing in top ten or even 20 I think that would be a different story. - MAC Racing
Mon Mar 8 - Things that make you go Hmmm - Carl does get parked, Kenny in the car, I'm always about seeing that. Ward in the car, that would just be so interesting, on so many levels. And for history purposes, the #8 Red Dog beer that Kenny dominated in was a FORD, and it was most AWESOME car EVER! - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - I'm torn here. Maybe Carl went a little overboard, but I think drivers should handle it, not Nascar. Can't have a weekly demo derby though, that's for the fairgrounds. And I think Brad was due to get his. Would we be having this discussion, if he had just wrecked, not rolled so dramatically? - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Believe it or not, I improved this team with my changes. And even though I start on the pole, but work my way backwards each week and have won a race in years, we are stick with Lance as crew chief, cause it can't be the driver! For those in the Nation, re-read as needed to pick up true meaning - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Yeah, threw away another 70 points on the last minute changes, even though I did pick up Menard. But you are right, let's not bring up the other team - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Mar 8 - Thanks, pup for posting your views on the Carl incident.....You saved me some time as I agree with you 100%. I'm glad to hear it from other NASCAR fans....I'm all for letting them race but Carl was 156? laps down....he was just riding, not racing...Thanks for a great recap, Pup - MAC Racing
Mon Mar 8 - and by the way Pup great job this weekend you gained on me big time - Outlaw Racin
Mon Mar 8 - Crew chief?!?!?!? He's got a crew chief??? - Pup
Mon Mar 8 - You know I agree that there's no place for wrecking guys at 195 mph and the problem earlier in the day was Carl's fault but Keselkowski has rubbed several drivers the wrong way in his young career so maybe this will be a wake up call to himself also but for the record i also think Carl should be sit down for a race or 2 be a perfect time to put Ward Burton in the drivers seat and Mopar i think i gained 3 points on GAF to tie you at the top we won t even bring up your Mopar team i think it's time to change crew chiefs - Outlaw Racin
Mon Mar 8 - Mopar, I hear ya. But when you watch the video from earlier in the day, Carl came down on Brad. Brad was just running his line and if Carl had maintained his line, he would have been fine. Maybe Carl's spotter told him 'clear' when it wasn't, but the first incident was clearly Carl's fault. He should have been man enough to see that he came down on the #12 car and Brad had nowhere to go. CE does not stand for Carl Edwards, but rather, Class Exempt, for the guy has absolutely no class. What would NASCAR have done if Brad were killed in that wreck? Would he be banned from all NASCAR sanctioned races? That guy needs to sit out a race or two and give KENNY WALLACE the seat. Especially at Bristol. Kenny likes a da Bristol!!! - Pup

Sun Mar 7 - Far as the other topic, heard a lot of both sides, which I am kind of on both. It was ugly and it was at 195 and fairly obviously intentional. HOWEVER, I'm sure that Carl was not looking to turn him over or hurt anybody, he was just returning the favor. I like Brad and his aggressive style, just like JPM's, but what goes around comes around. Will Smith in MIB Don't start nothin', Won't be nothin' - Mopar Blaze
Sun Mar 7 - All I can say is WOW! Ok, I'll say more than that, looked at the teams and knew Pup kicked butt. I came out with more of a crap shoot than Daytona. - Mopar Blaze
Sun Mar 7 - Carl continued... I believe NASCAR should let him sit out the Bristol race. Fines and a reduction of points will not make the statement that these drivers need to hear. I have no problem with NASCAR letting them race, but if they're going to abuse the new freedom they've been given, the powers that be need to pull the trigger on some tougher punishments when it's called for. If they sat him down for two races, I'd be OK with that. Sadly, they will probably do neither. Time to run along and pick a new driver... - Pup
Sun Mar 7 - On a day I should be squealing with excitement, I find myself experiencing quite the opposite. If the unofficial results from Atlanta hold up, I will have scored the highest score among all 157 teams in the league. That's a pretty cool thing to do and I don't do it often. However today, I renounce Carl Edwards as my favorite driver. I realize NASCAR needs rivalries and trash talk, etc. etc. but what he did today to Brad Keselowski was downright the lowest, most classless move I have ever seen a driver make. I might have been able to deal with it had they both been on the same lap, but for Carl to pull that crap being that far down was just over the top stupid. I thought Brad handled the post wreck interview VERY well. I am so !@#$%^& done with Carl Edwards it's not even funny. Tally was just a racin' deal. This was total crap today. - Pup
Thu Mar 4 - But who owns the top team in the division? >ME< I don't have the skills that Hendrick does to make all my teams top level, so I focus on the one that is the best, even if it means the others suffer and lag behind. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. For now. Until I can come up with something better. - Mopar Blaze
Thu Mar 4 - Pup beat ya by 4 wow i noticed you didn t say nothin about my beatin you by 98 you just keep diggin man your only 398 behind me after 3 races and for the record dead last in our division but i got faith you ll keep talking cause that s all you can do - Outlaw Racin
Wed Mar 3 - Man, that sounded like one Nascar's forced interviews. We finished 5th, so it was a good points day, I ejnoy being here with my fellow competitors, and appreciate Nascar and the fans for allowing me to do what I love for a livin'. YAWN! How you get a name like Outlaw anyhow?!? - Mopar Blaze
Wed Mar 3 - You know, Jamie McMurray has had two rough races since Daytona. He was most picked in Pack #5 (85 teams with Hornish 2nd with 39 teams). See my full break out on the NIBBLES page. - Pup
Wed Mar 3 - I will be the first to admit last year i sucked didn t win a dime and Mopar out scored me i m hoping this years is different already won 20 doin well in the mop division Jeff Burton doin well life is good right now hope it continues - Outlaw Racin
Tue Mar 2 - You want current, I'll take on the whole lot of you then. Pop the cork and raise your glasses, Junior was in the top 20 all day and didn't disappear or hit the wall at the end of the day. On a non-restrictor plate track, thumbs up! Might be back to form, competeting with those few guys that come close to making the Chase, but DONT - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Tue Mar 2 - Lately huh? Well then, stand proud Pup, admit your victory. You beat me by a whooping 4 points. Threw away another 780+. Feel free to stop updating that Champ/Chump page if you're busy, wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least, lol - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 2 - Mercy! You two kill me. The past is cool, but like every other sport, it's ''what have you done for me lately?'' So my goal is to pull myself out of the gutter and catch up to the Outlaw. I lost ground at Vegas. Geez, what a terrible race for this ol' pup. Can I do any worse at Atlanta? (ah, the kiss of death...) - Pup
Mon Mar 1 - STOP THE PRESS! I have facts, from Pup's own OCC Recap page from '09. Blaze, 34th, 25743 pts, Outlaw, 54th, 25400 pts, GAF, 60th, 25224 pts. Who kicked who's (rear)? And that's not even adding in Jr's team like you said I could. Put that in the pipe and smoke it - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - And you guys make this kicking the dog thing sound bad. I'm not prejudice either, I'll kick them if they are awake too - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - I don't about all that. Besides, one of the teams is run by my son, who pays no attention to how teams are doing (always takes Jr) and likes to take start/park drivers. Even worse, one team used to belong to my ex-wife and she used to pick some real losers...like WARD! That's not a shot either, that's unfortunately the truth - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - Heck total up all 3 of your teams i'm still way ahead - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 28 - Ha, ha. In about an hour (2pm now) it will be time to drop the trash and scoop the cash! I'm feelin' pretty good about my chances today to take the MOP (up) division! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Heck Pup he probaly still kicks them Yeah your right Mopar it s not often i m ahead of many folks but i can always count on you runnin 2nd to me we should go back over the years and total up our winnings see whose the top dog oh yeah that would be me ahead by a couple of thousand atleast sorry Mopar the truth hurts sometime goodluck today your gonna need it - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 28 - LOL, Mopar, you just don't know when to quit, do ya? I'll bet you kicked sleeping dogs when you were a youngun', too! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Thanks, BottomFeeder. I plan to update the NIBBLES page every week this year... something I have not been doing in the past. I also want to continue to add 'unadvertised specials' but this will depend on the team count. What folks need to remember is, you can join in mid season and have a ton of fun. Three to four chances at $1000 is nothing to sneeze at. So yes, I hope to see more teams join in mid year than any other year to date. Good luck today... don't roll a 7! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Yes there is a WARD BLAST that goes with that. Guess he's got to enjoy his minute of fame cause you never know when you'll just up and disappear completely - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - Wow, listen to him. In front of a few people for the first time in his life and he's all talk. I don't think I've seen this many posts from Outlaw in all the previous years combined - Mopar Blaze
Sat Feb 27 - Pup...just wanted to take the time to say thank-you for running such a great site!!! I am new this year and fall under Wes's Recruits in division 5. I recruited CamelToe Racing and Fatman Racing in Wes's league and hope to bring more to the table next year. Best of luck to all. - BottomFeeder Racing

Fri Feb 26 - It s all good Brucewin that s what the PITPUP is all about friendly competition and alot of trash tralking so don t feel bad when i pass you just keep trying and do the best you can - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 26 - well outlaw sorry your going through a rough time,im just trying to get a little friendly competition going. - Brucewin
Fri Feb 26 - And Brucewin don t let off the gas cause i'm right there gonna cut the gap this week - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 26 - Alright i'm in been real busy got a sick kid and all other kinda crap going on moving half my plant somewhere else guess i'm gonna need a job shortly really sucks been there a long time and am not looking forward to starting over but enough of that looking forward to the race Sunday gonna lap you both again you ll only see my bumper as i come around you - Outlaw Racin
Thu Feb 25 - I don't think Outlaw is scared of nothing. Remember, it's always the quiet ones you have to look out for. Nope. He'll be along when sooner rather than later. In the mean time, please don't taunt him. It only makes him try harder and now that ... AHEM ... I'm on his bumper and you're behind me, Mr. Blaze, let's not try and make my job of pulling up to his back bumper any harder than it has to be!!! Thanky... - Pup
Thu Feb 25 - Pup, wanted to comend you on having 31 teams in a division this year. Based on my score last week, that allowed me to beat 3-4 teams - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 25 - Outlaw - to win the MOP, you have to login in and join, unless you are scared. Or just computer illiterate? - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 25 - Don't remember for sure, but it's been right around the same time (many years ago). First 5 years, don't think I ever won a thing. Last few, picked up the 20 couple times, think I won the division once. Or maybe that was Daulton, lol. Either way way it goes into my account, since that's where the entry fee comes from. Can't let him get a free ride like Ward did for all those years, lol - Mopar Blaze
Wed Feb 24 - hey outlaw your going to have to get past me first, keep the 20 im going for the big money.good luck!! - Brucewin
Wed Feb 24 - If you watch South Park... ''damn near tree fiddy''... however in this case, it would depend on the person who gave the atta-boy. The Pup's version of the atta-boy is the Jersey Joe, and it pays $40 this year. Check with the outlaw and see what he's coughing up these days! - Pup
Wed Feb 24 - what does an atta-boy pay? - Haynes Racing
Tue Feb 23 - Haynes Racing so close that really sucks to score a freakin 869 and get no puppie bucks bummer i feel for ya man you ll just have to do better - Outlaw Racin
Tue Feb 23 - Hey Mopar gotta sey i sucked last year didn t win a dime so to to get on the board this early gives me some confidence and i hope to dominate the MOP division as well as your other teams good luck to you though just wondering how many years you been doing this i know we been at each other for a few years now i think this is my eight or ninth year and have won the big money once how bout you( like i don t already know the answer ) just gotta remind you every once in awhile keeps you witty and motivated this weeks scores should motivate you also hey can you send me some ward talk it s been awhile - Outlaw Racin
Tue Feb 23 - A quick post for the brand new teams... The results for the current race can be displayed using the RESULTS links, of course. But what happens to the previous race or races before that? Simple! If you go to the schedule, you can see the results for every race this year. Just look for the 'SHOW ME' link in the last column and click that. And for you old timers, you can see the results of every race for the past 10 years from the RECAP links on the front page. Yes, every race! - Pup
Tue Feb 23 - If I may be so bold... I hope everyone remembers that the final two races this segment are Bristol and Martinsville. If you thought Daytona was nerve wracking, wait until we hit the short tracks. Division Winners are going to earn their extra money this segment. - Pup
Tue Feb 23 - Thought I could recover by saying this team was at least dominating Outlaw, but it's only 30 some points ahead now in the OCC. You're gonna beat all my teams this year - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Tue Feb 23 - Yes, and thanks to Pup's wonderful Champ or Chump page, I see that I threw away 2 different 800+ teams. Guess I can't even hang in the new low end bracket. Have a drink for me out of that $20 there Outlaw. Toast to Ward and me - Mopar Blaze
Mon Feb 22 - Time to MOP up (Mopar vs Outlaw vs Pup) This week: Outlaw - 851, Pup - 742, Mopar - 623. Exactly 300 points between 1st and 3rd... Four races to go! - Pup
Mon Feb 22 - Well Mopar lets just say i lapped you a couple of times and the Pup once if my math is right i brought home 20 big ones - Outlaw Racin
Mon Feb 22 - Not sure what your guys scores are, but I improved this week. Only got lapped 5 times, lol. Probably gave back your 22 pts and then some! Think I had one of Jr's cars from last year - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 21 - California Perfect Score? 926 pts: Johnson, Kurt Busch, Kenseth, Harvick, Hornish, and Speed. Congrats to Byrdman Abatetors (unofficial until Monday night) with a sweet score of 898! You'll notice none of the Perfecto drivers for Daytona repeated at Cali. - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Dang thats a good name for my racing team Cellar Dwellers , hope to do ya proud pup ! - Asphalt Warriors
Sun Feb 21 - Amazing to see so many good teams in the bottom 32, should be an interesting contest. You ought to come back with weekly emails, I always forget to go check out the Nibbles page (old age getting to me I guess and I'm only 34), always liked the wit in the emails. Keep up the good work. I accidently found your site a few years ago, and am glad that this is the league I decided to go with, it has been very entertaining and well run. - Reddog Racing
Sun Feb 21 - Thanks V&P (Speed and Power - Not letting 4 years of French go down the toilet...) !! And for a few years I did not keep up the NIBBLES page. My promise to you this year is to make that page so exciting you'll join just to hear the crap that comes outta my mouth... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Good decision on the divisions and payouts Pup. This is why I come back every year. You keep us informed and you are always fair with your decisions. In this league we are not just a number... - Vitesse Et Puissance
Sun Feb 21 - Oh yes, the 'Trio'... 660-588-566 and I'm bringing up the rear... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Keep up? That boy needs a new script just to see your (or is that OUR) rear bumpers. I'm tracking the three of us this year so he'll know exactly who he's dealing with. And being the supah cool big dog that I am, I've already spotted him 22 points. 22 in honor of Kenny Wallace (see front page if memory is shakey) ... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Pup you always do a great job with the league you run it quite well no complaints here keep up the good work and by the way Jeff Burton is your winner today that be Wards little brother Mopar i'm going to the front try to keep up - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 21 - I hear ya, Torque. I hope it comes down to you and me at Martinsville. Good luck in my version of March Madness! - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Prediction, I will not be in the low scorers group this week or any future weeks. That Nibbles page is nice but I can't run with group. - Torque
Sun Feb 21 - Ooh, Mac Racing, that's like the Kiss of Death agreeing with me, on anything, lol - Mopar Blaze
Sat Feb 20 - GREAT NEWS! Well my little racing pups... we start off the 2010 season with just over 150 teams (down approximately 8 teams from last year). Believe me when I tell you this is excellent news. Yes, we've slid backwards just a bit, but there are other fantasy leagues out there who have loaded up the trailer and headed home. We're still here and looking at the BUDDY page, I have YOU guys and gals to thank for that. Back on point. Normally we would have six divisions with a league made up of 157 teams. In my uncertainty, I created only 5 divisions, not 6. Therefore, each of our five division winners in the first segment will receive $120.00. In the second segment, as long as we maintain 150+ teams, I will break everyone up into 6 (six) divisions and we will drop the division winner's check from $120.00 to $70.00. Should we start Segment 2 with under 150 teams, we'll revisit this division count / division payout matter again. - Pup
Fri Feb 19 - Hi all - I agree with Mopar regarding the Feb 18th post...Pup is the commisioner of the league so I think Pup should make the final decision regarding how many teams in each division. So, Pup, whatever you think is best. Also, I'd like to add that since you cannot accept paypal anymore, I think it is wise to give the latecomers a chance to use snail mail and send in their checks. - MAC Racing
Fri Feb 19 - I think it stems from the fact that he was my ex-wife's favorite driver, so I just wanted to see him get beat, lol. Now it's Jimmie Johnson, still waiting for him to get beat, but don't see it happening - Mopar Blaze
Fri Feb 19 - My vote is to return to about 25 teams per division, but will be okay with whatever the outcome. - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Fri Feb 19 - and get ready for a butt whuppin Sunday my bumper is gonna be gettin harder and harder to see better step on it - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 19 - Mopar you have issues that you should talk to someone about I don t know what Ward ever done to you but he has clearly hurt you dearly and for that i apoligize for Ward he never meant you no harm so turn that frown upside down and get over it - Outlaw Racin
Thu Feb 18 - I think I should track you, Outlaw Racin', and me and just see where we're sitting five races from now, LOL. - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Well, it's not like I can brag about winning with my score of 588, though I did beat those that had only 566. See, maybe now you want me going back to ragging on WARD! - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - Takes a lot to be as witty as I've been on here - Mopar Blaze --- Yes, and humble, too!! - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Besides, what little thinking I do happen to do is reserved for new comments about Outlaw and Ward. Takes a lot to be as witty as I've been on here - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - Hey Pup - you know me, I normally don't like to give my opinion (choke) but since you asked...you do whatever you think is best. Haven't been here since your beginning, but it was shortly thereafter and you have always done things in the best interest of the league and for the competitors, so I say we just keep one Head Pup in Charge, that being you. I personally pay my money to have fun, not to think, makes decisions, or to think. - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - One more addition, Joe. Now that I am no longer taking PayPal and all entry fees are submitted via the US Mail, I believe the correct thing to do is have everyone who pays as they go have their entry fees to me BEFORE the start of the next segment. Those who are not paid up when I reshuffle the divisions will be dropped and allowed to re-register after sitting out a segment. I welcome everyone's feedback on this. Do we go back to 25-28 teams in a division with a lower divisional winner prize or load up the divisions to 32-35 teams and double the division winners prize? Sounds like an interesting topic. Discuss!!! And Joe, just so you know, if I had 163 fully paid teams last Friday night when I set the divisions, we would have had five divisions of 27 teams and one division with 28 giving us a grand total of 163. But to repeat myself, I'd be interested to hear if all y'all want to stay with 25-28 teams or bulk it up to 32-35. This is YOUR league. Take this opportunity to be heard. - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Quite easy Joe, when I formed the divisions, there were 143 registered teams and only 98 had paid their entry fees. 98 teams would not give us even 4 divisions of 25 so I took a chance and because people have trusted me over the past 10 years, I have allowed them to run at Daytona on the promise their entry fees will get to me before California. Sadly, we know not everyone who promises to follow up, WILL follow up. So the divisions are, shall we say, a little heavy in anticipation that I will be dropping those who do not get their entry fees to me this week. THAT SAID, if everyone was to submit their fees, then I would simply raise the Division Winners' share in the current 5 divisions. Take a minute and read the boldfaced entry below and that should help you further if this post is lacking. Oh, and when you win your division this first segment, Joe, you need to invite me over to your house for the second segment so we can party hearty! Now, back to the Ward Burton show! - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Why are there 33 teams in the division this year when there has been 25 to 27 people per division in past years? - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Thu Feb 18 - I really do love and miss Ward's interviews, with that accent. That's probably why he isn't around in today's corporate spokesman role, but I truly love it - Mopar Blaze
Wed Feb 17 - He's still relevant, he's gonna be on Nascar Now this week, former Daytona 500 winner. I think you might have hurt someone's feelings with that post Pup, Outlaw is a sensitive guy, he might cry - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - Great News! We're up to 67 OCC teams and still more will be trickling in between now and Saturday. We should hit 70 teams without breaking a sweat. How many over 70 remains to be seen! The 2nd thru 4th place prizes are filling out nicely! Good luck to all the OCC'ers... - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - On my PRIZES page I made the statement that should we have less that 150 active teams this year that I was going to make a formal announcement as to what the prize amounts would be for the division winners. Tomorrow is that deadline. I'm here to tell you that we had a total of 22 teams (5 on Saturday, 17 on Sunday) register at the last minute. What I'm saying is we have less than 150 teams that have submitted fees so I'm going to give them until Monday, February 22nd to get their payments to me. After I have posted all payments, I will be happy to annouce the prizes for Division Winners. I have been in contact with most of the newbies and I am confident we will be in excellent shape to start the year, this crappy economy be damed! So stay tuned! - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - Some of you? Some of you??? Don't you mean ... aaaw, fuggitabouddit. You guys need to get a CURRENT driver to rip on. A few more years and we'll have team owners on here who never heard of Ward Burton! But I suppose it IS an inside joke and you two can have fun with that one until the cows come home. LOL (some of you might find that interesting...) You guys crack me up! - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - NASCAR Stat from LASTCAR website: Ward Burton is 7th on all-time list of last place finishes. Thought some of you might find that interesting - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - Hey Pup, that's almost identical to mine. Guess and I are in this SPECIAL contest - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - thank you pup now got to keep it going for the big bucks lol - Navarreraiders#8
Tue Feb 16 - If you scored less than 641 points at the Daytona 500, there is a special contest I'm putting together and it will be covered nicely on the Nibbles 'n' Bits page in the 3rd column. Still working on the details but let me put it to ya this way. There's cash money involved! - Pup
Mon Feb 15 - The perfect score for Daytona looks something like this: Martin / Biffle / Dale Jr / Bowyer / McMurray / Menard. This sixpack would have fetched you 956 points. Congrats to Navarreraiders#8 with a high score of 890. - Pup
Mon Feb 15 - An EXCELLENT question. Let me help. Let's say you submit 4 line-ups for one race. Obviously, only the last line-up you submit is used for your official score for said race. I thought it would be FUN to see what each of your unused line-ups would have fetched you in terms of points. For instance, my next to last line-up for Daytona would have scored me 804 points. As it was, I made one more final change and came away with 566 points. You tell me if I was a Champ or a Chump... - Pup
Mon Feb 15 - What is the Champ or Chump page about? - M&B Fantasy Racing
Mon Feb 15 - Wasn't that nice of him. Guess I can't hide my score from you then, huh? Mind you, my other team scored over 800. I'm treating this like 'Dega, I'm gonna hang at the back until the time is right and then make my move later, lol - Mopar Blaze
Mon Feb 15 - Well even though I start the season with a bad score!! Today was just awsome to me !! Junior made a great run to hopefully quiet some of the doubters, And Jamie Mac that raced at my home track in Mo. won the 5oo!!!! H_ _ L yah!! - Turn Left Racing

Sat Feb 13 - GREETINGS! -- At roughly 3:55pm on Saturday afternoon I uploaded the new team owner divisions. I also purged teams that did not appear to be returning from 2009. If you are one of those teams that got purged but want to play in 2010, not a problem. Head over to the registration page and fill out the form. Information for submitting your entry fees will come to you in the automatic email that is generated when you register. You will start out in Division #4 but know that I will be shuffling the stragglers between divisions 1 thru 5 right up until cut-off. - Pup

Thu Feb 11 - You know... I wasn't exactly sure about my driver groups to kick off the 2010 season. After seeing the Duel 150s today, I'm really pleased with my decisions and truly believe this will be one of the trickiest first segments in years. So good luck to all y'all !! - Pup
Wed Feb 10 - RW is race wins... it shows the number of wins thru the segment. DW stands for Darrell Waltripp and ... OK, you got me. It really stands for Division Wins. - Pup
