Wed Mar 10 - Pup, you're absolutely correct about Carl. There's a right place and time to do those kind of things. Carl simply made a bad decission. He destoryed a car, could have seriously hurt a fellow driver or worse hurt a fan in the stands. I hope Carl reflects on how lucky he was for a bad decission. Thanks! - Bowtie Bros
Wed Mar 10 - Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Bowtie Bros. And while I have the floor, let me state for the record I have no problem with drivers retailiating against someone they feel wronged them. I do have a problem with when and where and under which circumstances. Bristol and Martinsville are excellent places to dump some fool with little chance for personal injury. Atlanta... and not being on the same lap... no, make that 156 laps down, is not the place to get your revenge. I stand by my original statement that I am no longer a fan of Mr. Edwards as he shows me a complete lack of intelligence when it comes to playing the game. This guy has no class and no clue how to git 'er done on the track. Now... if only Brad were wheeling a Ford Fusion in the Cup series! - Pup
Wed Mar 10 - Hey Pup! Thanks again for such a great league. I enjoy all the chatter about last weekend. Rubbin is racin and racing is rubbin. I and two other fellas owned a late model for a number of years. I learned how to hang a left quarter panel and right front fender pretty darn quick. Always seemed to come home with some kind of rubber on the ole body somewhere. Learned how to repaint and letter a car too! Great times when you're young and single. Race Friday, Saturday and Sunday, barely left a guy time to drink a barley pop. Yep, the good ole days. Am I truly glad they are behind me. I couldn't handle it today. I wonder why Nascar doesn't let two good ole boys take it outside the fence like in the old days? I guess I'm just reflecting like most jar heads do from time to time. Thanks again for another great season, just wish we were a little more competative. By the way Magic Bus, I think you need to change your name back to short bus like it was when the three of us made suc - Bowtie Bros
Tue Mar 9 - I'm ok with it now, I never objected to the old way. I do agree with more points for wins, without a doubt. Thing I hate is the top 35. You want interesting, see racing for wins, bet Gordon (my driver) does real hard if misses a race week prior due to qualifying. Go to any dirt track, touring Late Model Series. They give 2, maybe 4 provisionals a night. Top fastest cars qualify or race their way in, period. Means the local drivers can get in against the top pros by out running them - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 9 - Which reminds me, what do you all think of the Chase format? I think it has been the downfall of Cup racing because teams are too concerned about racing for points and not for wins. What I'd like to see NASCAR do, is put more of a premium on a win, maybe an extra 50-point bonus. What do you all think? - Rogers Racing
Tue Mar 9 - I'm actually glad they didn't suspend Carl. While I don't agree with his timing on taking on Brad, I'm glad that NASCAR has decided to let the drivers police themselves. NASCAR started to get to corporate and too predictable in the last 5 or 6 years and this will make it exciting again. - Rogers Racing
Tue Mar 9 - Well, what do you all think of Nascar? They stood by their statement of position at the start of the year, that's for sure - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 9 - There are several things that make that not the best time/place. Knowing it would be seen as retaliation since it was so immediate, the speeds, the track. And I think he changed the outcome of the race, maybe not the winner, but the rest of the rundown for sure. I was looking forward to seeing JPM catch Busch and go door to door. But it's all a conspiracy, JR went from 30+ to 15th, my driver Gordon same up to 18th, so I can't complain - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Mopar - Brad was due......but not when Carl is 156? laps down....If Carl were racing in top ten or even 20 I think that would be a different story. - MAC Racing
Mon Mar 8 - Things that make you go Hmmm - Carl does get parked, Kenny in the car, I'm always about seeing that. Ward in the car, that would just be so interesting, on so many levels. And for history purposes, the #8 Red Dog beer that Kenny dominated in was a FORD, and it was most AWESOME car EVER! - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - I'm torn here. Maybe Carl went a little overboard, but I think drivers should handle it, not Nascar. Can't have a weekly demo derby though, that's for the fairgrounds. And I think Brad was due to get his. Would we be having this discussion, if he had just wrecked, not rolled so dramatically? - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Believe it or not, I improved this team with my changes. And even though I start on the pole, but work my way backwards each week and have won a race in years, we are stick with Lance as crew chief, cause it can't be the driver! For those in the Nation, re-read as needed to pick up true meaning - Mopar Blaze
Mon Mar 8 - Yeah, threw away another 70 points on the last minute changes, even though I did pick up Menard. But you are right, let's not bring up the other team - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Mon Mar 8 - Thanks, pup for posting your views on the Carl incident.....You saved me some time as I agree with you 100%. I'm glad to hear it from other NASCAR fans....I'm all for letting them race but Carl was 156? laps down....he was just riding, not racing...Thanks for a great recap, Pup - MAC Racing
Mon Mar 8 - and by the way Pup great job this weekend you gained on me big time - Outlaw Racin
Mon Mar 8 - Crew chief?!?!?!? He's got a crew chief??? - Pup
Mon Mar 8 - You know I agree that there's no place for wrecking guys at 195 mph and the problem earlier in the day was Carl's fault but Keselkowski has rubbed several drivers the wrong way in his young career so maybe this will be a wake up call to himself also but for the record i also think Carl should be sit down for a race or 2 be a perfect time to put Ward Burton in the drivers seat and Mopar i think i gained 3 points on GAF to tie you at the top we won t even bring up your Mopar team i think it's time to change crew chiefs - Outlaw Racin
Mon Mar 8 - Mopar, I hear ya. But when you watch the video from earlier in the day, Carl came down on Brad. Brad was just running his line and if Carl had maintained his line, he would have been fine. Maybe Carl's spotter told him 'clear' when it wasn't, but the first incident was clearly Carl's fault. He should have been man enough to see that he came down on the #12 car and Brad had nowhere to go. CE does not stand for Carl Edwards, but rather, Class Exempt, for the guy has absolutely no class. What would NASCAR have done if Brad were killed in that wreck? Would he be banned from all NASCAR sanctioned races? That guy needs to sit out a race or two and give KENNY WALLACE the seat. Especially at Bristol. Kenny likes a da Bristol!!! - Pup
Sun Mar 7 - Far as the other topic, heard a lot of both sides, which I am kind of on both. It was ugly and it was at 195 and fairly obviously intentional. HOWEVER, I'm sure that Carl was not looking to turn him over or hurt anybody, he was just returning the favor. I like Brad and his aggressive style, just like JPM's, but what goes around comes around. Will Smith in MIB Don't start nothin', Won't be nothin' - Mopar Blaze
Sun Mar 7 - All I can say is WOW! Ok, I'll say more than that, looked at the teams and knew Pup kicked butt. I came out with more of a crap shoot than Daytona. - Mopar Blaze
Sun Mar 7 - Carl continued... I believe NASCAR should let him sit out the Bristol race. Fines and a reduction of points will not make the statement that these drivers need to hear. I have no problem with NASCAR letting them race, but if they're going to abuse the new freedom they've been given, the powers that be need to pull the trigger on some tougher punishments when it's called for. If they sat him down for two races, I'd be OK with that. Sadly, they will probably do neither. Time to run along and pick a new driver... - Pup
Sun Mar 7 - On a day I should be squealing with excitement, I find myself experiencing quite the opposite. If the unofficial results from Atlanta hold up, I will have scored the highest score among all 157 teams in the league. That's a pretty cool thing to do and I don't do it often. However today, I renounce Carl Edwards as my favorite driver. I realize NASCAR needs rivalries and trash talk, etc. etc. but what he did today to Brad Keselowski was downright the lowest, most classless move I have ever seen a driver make. I might have been able to deal with it had they both been on the same lap, but for Carl to pull that crap being that far down was just over the top stupid. I thought Brad handled the post wreck interview VERY well. I am so !@#$%^& done with Carl Edwards it's not even funny. Tally was just a racin' deal. This was total crap today. - Pup
Thu Mar 4 - But who owns the top team in the division? >ME< I don't have the skills that Hendrick does to make all my teams top level, so I focus on the one that is the best, even if it means the others suffer and lag behind. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. For now. Until I can come up with something better. - Mopar Blaze
Thu Mar 4 - Pup beat ya by 4 wow i noticed you didn t say nothin about my beatin you by 98 you just keep diggin man your only 398 behind me after 3 races and for the record dead last in our division but i got faith you ll keep talking cause that s all you can do - Outlaw Racin
Wed Mar 3 - Man, that sounded like one Nascar's forced interviews. We finished 5th, so it was a good points day, I ejnoy being here with my fellow competitors, and appreciate Nascar and the fans for allowing me to do what I love for a livin'. YAWN! How you get a name like Outlaw anyhow?!? - Mopar Blaze
Wed Mar 3 - You know, Jamie McMurray has had two rough races since Daytona. He was most picked in Pack #5 (85 teams with Hornish 2nd with 39 teams). See my full break out on the NIBBLES page. - Pup
Wed Mar 3 - I will be the first to admit last year i sucked didn t win a dime and Mopar out scored me i m hoping this years is different already won 20 doin well in the mop division Jeff Burton doin well life is good right now hope it continues - Outlaw Racin
Tue Mar 2 - You want current, I'll take on the whole lot of you then. Pop the cork and raise your glasses, Junior was in the top 20 all day and didn't disappear or hit the wall at the end of the day. On a non-restrictor plate track, thumbs up! Might be back to form, competeting with those few guys that come close to making the Chase, but DONT - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Tue Mar 2 - Lately huh? Well then, stand proud Pup, admit your victory. You beat me by a whooping 4 points. Threw away another 780+. Feel free to stop updating that Champ/Chump page if you're busy, wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least, lol - Mopar Blaze
Tue Mar 2 - Mercy! You two kill me. The past is cool, but like every other sport, it's ''what have you done for me lately?'' So my goal is to pull myself out of the gutter and catch up to the Outlaw. I lost ground at Vegas. Geez, what a terrible race for this ol' pup. Can I do any worse at Atlanta? (ah, the kiss of death...) - Pup
Mon Mar 1 - STOP THE PRESS! I have facts, from Pup's own OCC Recap page from '09. Blaze, 34th, 25743 pts, Outlaw, 54th, 25400 pts, GAF, 60th, 25224 pts. Who kicked who's (rear)? And that's not even adding in Jr's team like you said I could. Put that in the pipe and smoke it - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - And you guys make this kicking the dog thing sound bad. I'm not prejudice either, I'll kick them if they are awake too - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - I don't about all that. Besides, one of the teams is run by my son, who pays no attention to how teams are doing (always takes Jr) and likes to take start/park drivers. Even worse, one team used to belong to my ex-wife and she used to pick some real losers...like WARD! That's not a shot either, that's unfortunately the truth - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - Heck total up all 3 of your teams i'm still way ahead - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 28 - Ha, ha. In about an hour (2pm now) it will be time to drop the trash and scoop the cash! I'm feelin' pretty good about my chances today to take the MOP (up) division! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Heck Pup he probaly still kicks them Yeah your right Mopar it s not often i m ahead of many folks but i can always count on you runnin 2nd to me we should go back over the years and total up our winnings see whose the top dog oh yeah that would be me ahead by a couple of thousand atleast sorry Mopar the truth hurts sometime goodluck today your gonna need it - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 28 - LOL, Mopar, you just don't know when to quit, do ya? I'll bet you kicked sleeping dogs when you were a youngun', too! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Thanks, BottomFeeder. I plan to update the NIBBLES page every week this year... something I have not been doing in the past. I also want to continue to add 'unadvertised specials' but this will depend on the team count. What folks need to remember is, you can join in mid season and have a ton of fun. Three to four chances at $1000 is nothing to sneeze at. So yes, I hope to see more teams join in mid year than any other year to date. Good luck today... don't roll a 7! - Pup
Sun Feb 28 - Yes there is a WARD BLAST that goes with that. Guess he's got to enjoy his minute of fame cause you never know when you'll just up and disappear completely - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 28 - Wow, listen to him. In front of a few people for the first time in his life and he's all talk. I don't think I've seen this many posts from Outlaw in all the previous years combined - Mopar Blaze
Sat Feb 27 - Pup...just wanted to take the time to say thank-you for running such a great site!!! I am new this year and fall under Wes's Recruits in division 5. I recruited CamelToe Racing and Fatman Racing in Wes's league and hope to bring more to the table next year. Best of luck to all. - BottomFeeder Racing
Fri Feb 26 - It s all good Brucewin that s what the PITPUP is all about friendly competition and alot of trash tralking so don t feel bad when i pass you just keep trying and do the best you can - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 26 - well outlaw sorry your going through a rough time,im just trying to get a little friendly competition going. - Brucewin
Fri Feb 26 - And Brucewin don t let off the gas cause i'm right there gonna cut the gap this week - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 26 - Alright i'm in been real busy got a sick kid and all other kinda crap going on moving half my plant somewhere else guess i'm gonna need a job shortly really sucks been there a long time and am not looking forward to starting over but enough of that looking forward to the race Sunday gonna lap you both again you ll only see my bumper as i come around you - Outlaw Racin
Thu Feb 25 - I don't think Outlaw is scared of nothing. Remember, it's always the quiet ones you have to look out for. Nope. He'll be along when sooner rather than later. In the mean time, please don't taunt him. It only makes him try harder and now that ... AHEM ... I'm on his bumper and you're behind me, Mr. Blaze, let's not try and make my job of pulling up to his back bumper any harder than it has to be!!! Thanky... - Pup
Thu Feb 25 - Pup, wanted to comend you on having 31 teams in a division this year. Based on my score last week, that allowed me to beat 3-4 teams - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 25 - Outlaw - to win the MOP, you have to login in and join, unless you are scared. Or just computer illiterate? - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 25 - Don't remember for sure, but it's been right around the same time (many years ago). First 5 years, don't think I ever won a thing. Last few, picked up the 20 couple times, think I won the division once. Or maybe that was Daulton, lol. Either way way it goes into my account, since that's where the entry fee comes from. Can't let him get a free ride like Ward did for all those years, lol - Mopar Blaze
Wed Feb 24 - hey outlaw your going to have to get past me first, keep the 20 im going for the big money.good luck!! - Brucewin
Wed Feb 24 - If you watch South Park... ''damn near tree fiddy''... however in this case, it would depend on the person who gave the atta-boy. The Pup's version of the atta-boy is the Jersey Joe, and it pays $40 this year. Check with the outlaw and see what he's coughing up these days! - Pup
Wed Feb 24 - what does an atta-boy pay? - Haynes Racing
Tue Feb 23 - Haynes Racing so close that really sucks to score a freakin 869 and get no puppie bucks bummer i feel for ya man you ll just have to do better - Outlaw Racin
Tue Feb 23 - Hey Mopar gotta sey i sucked last year didn t win a dime so to to get on the board this early gives me some confidence and i hope to dominate the MOP division as well as your other teams good luck to you though just wondering how many years you been doing this i know we been at each other for a few years now i think this is my eight or ninth year and have won the big money once how bout you( like i don t already know the answer ) just gotta remind you every once in awhile keeps you witty and motivated this weeks scores should motivate you also hey can you send me some ward talk it s been awhile - Outlaw Racin
Tue Feb 23 - A quick post for the brand new teams... The results for the current race can be displayed using the RESULTS links, of course. But what happens to the previous race or races before that? Simple! If you go to the schedule, you can see the results for every race this year. Just look for the 'SHOW ME' link in the last column and click that. And for you old timers, you can see the results of every race for the past 10 years from the RECAP links on the front page. Yes, every race! - Pup
Tue Feb 23 - If I may be so bold... I hope everyone remembers that the final two races this segment are Bristol and Martinsville. If you thought Daytona was nerve wracking, wait until we hit the short tracks. Division Winners are going to earn their extra money this segment. - Pup
Tue Feb 23 - Thought I could recover by saying this team was at least dominating Outlaw, but it's only 30 some points ahead now in the OCC. You're gonna beat all my teams this year - Gambler's Anonymous Funds
Tue Feb 23 - Yes, and thanks to Pup's wonderful Champ or Chump page, I see that I threw away 2 different 800+ teams. Guess I can't even hang in the new low end bracket. Have a drink for me out of that $20 there Outlaw. Toast to Ward and me - Mopar Blaze
Mon Feb 22 - Time to MOP up (Mopar vs Outlaw vs Pup) This week: Outlaw - 851, Pup - 742, Mopar - 623. Exactly 300 points between 1st and 3rd... Four races to go! - Pup
Mon Feb 22 - Well Mopar lets just say i lapped you a couple of times and the Pup once if my math is right i brought home 20 big ones - Outlaw Racin
Mon Feb 22 - Not sure what your guys scores are, but I improved this week. Only got lapped 5 times, lol. Probably gave back your 22 pts and then some! Think I had one of Jr's cars from last year - Mopar Blaze
Sun Feb 21 - California Perfect Score? 926 pts: Johnson, Kurt Busch, Kenseth, Harvick, Hornish, and Speed. Congrats to Byrdman Abatetors (unofficial until Monday night) with a sweet score of 898! You'll notice none of the Perfecto drivers for Daytona repeated at Cali. - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Dang thats a good name for my racing team Cellar Dwellers , hope to do ya proud pup ! - Asphalt Warriors
Sun Feb 21 - Amazing to see so many good teams in the bottom 32, should be an interesting contest. You ought to come back with weekly emails, I always forget to go check out the Nibbles page (old age getting to me I guess and I'm only 34), always liked the wit in the emails. Keep up the good work. I accidently found your site a few years ago, and am glad that this is the league I decided to go with, it has been very entertaining and well run. - Reddog Racing
Sun Feb 21 - Thanks V&P (Speed and Power - Not letting 4 years of French go down the toilet...) !! And for a few years I did not keep up the NIBBLES page. My promise to you this year is to make that page so exciting you'll join just to hear the crap that comes outta my mouth... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Good decision on the divisions and payouts Pup. This is why I come back every year. You keep us informed and you are always fair with your decisions. In this league we are not just a number... - Vitesse Et Puissance
Sun Feb 21 - Oh yes, the 'Trio'... 660-588-566 and I'm bringing up the rear... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Keep up? That boy needs a new script just to see your (or is that OUR) rear bumpers. I'm tracking the three of us this year so he'll know exactly who he's dealing with. And being the supah cool big dog that I am, I've already spotted him 22 points. 22 in honor of Kenny Wallace (see front page if memory is shakey) ... - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Pup you always do a great job with the league you run it quite well no complaints here keep up the good work and by the way Jeff Burton is your winner today that be Wards little brother Mopar i'm going to the front try to keep up - Outlaw Racin
Sun Feb 21 - I hear ya, Torque. I hope it comes down to you and me at Martinsville. Good luck in my version of March Madness! - Pup
Sun Feb 21 - Prediction, I will not be in the low scorers group this week or any future weeks. That Nibbles page is nice but I can't run with group. - Torque
Sun Feb 21 - Ooh, Mac Racing, that's like the Kiss of Death agreeing with me, on anything, lol - Mopar Blaze
Sat Feb 20 - GREAT NEWS! Well my little racing pups... we start off the 2010 season with just over 150 teams (down approximately 8 teams from last year). Believe me when I tell you this is excellent news. Yes, we've slid backwards just a bit, but there are other fantasy leagues out there who have loaded up the trailer and headed home. We're still here and looking at the BUDDY page, I have YOU guys and gals to thank for that. Back on point. Normally we would have six divisions with a league made up of 157 teams. In my uncertainty, I created only 5 divisions, not 6. Therefore, each of our five division winners in the first segment will receive $120.00. In the second segment, as long as we maintain 150+ teams, I will break everyone up into 6 (six) divisions and we will drop the division winner's check from $120.00 to $70.00. Should we start Segment 2 with under 150 teams, we'll revisit this division count / division payout matter again. - Pup
Fri Feb 19 - Hi all - I agree with Mopar regarding the Feb 18th post...Pup is the commisioner of the league so I think Pup should make the final decision regarding how many teams in each division. So, Pup, whatever you think is best. Also, I'd like to add that since you cannot accept paypal anymore, I think it is wise to give the latecomers a chance to use snail mail and send in their checks. - MAC Racing
Fri Feb 19 - I think it stems from the fact that he was my ex-wife's favorite driver, so I just wanted to see him get beat, lol. Now it's Jimmie Johnson, still waiting for him to get beat, but don't see it happening - Mopar Blaze
Fri Feb 19 - My vote is to return to about 25 teams per division, but will be okay with whatever the outcome. - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Fri Feb 19 - and get ready for a butt whuppin Sunday my bumper is gonna be gettin harder and harder to see better step on it - Outlaw Racin
Fri Feb 19 - Mopar you have issues that you should talk to someone about I don t know what Ward ever done to you but he has clearly hurt you dearly and for that i apoligize for Ward he never meant you no harm so turn that frown upside down and get over it - Outlaw Racin
Thu Feb 18 - I think I should track you, Outlaw Racin', and me and just see where we're sitting five races from now, LOL. - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Well, it's not like I can brag about winning with my score of 588, though I did beat those that had only 566. See, maybe now you want me going back to ragging on WARD! - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - Takes a lot to be as witty as I've been on here - Mopar Blaze --- Yes, and humble, too!! - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Besides, what little thinking I do happen to do is reserved for new comments about Outlaw and Ward. Takes a lot to be as witty as I've been on here - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - Hey Pup - you know me, I normally don't like to give my opinion (choke) but since you asked...you do whatever you think is best. Haven't been here since your beginning, but it was shortly thereafter and you have always done things in the best interest of the league and for the competitors, so I say we just keep one Head Pup in Charge, that being you. I personally pay my money to have fun, not to think, makes decisions, or to think. - Mopar Blaze
Thu Feb 18 - One more addition, Joe. Now that I am no longer taking PayPal and all entry fees are submitted via the US Mail, I believe the correct thing to do is have everyone who pays as they go have their entry fees to me BEFORE the start of the next segment. Those who are not paid up when I reshuffle the divisions will be dropped and allowed to re-register after sitting out a segment. I welcome everyone's feedback on this. Do we go back to 25-28 teams in a division with a lower divisional winner prize or load up the divisions to 32-35 teams and double the division winners prize? Sounds like an interesting topic. Discuss!!! And Joe, just so you know, if I had 163 fully paid teams last Friday night when I set the divisions, we would have had five divisions of 27 teams and one division with 28 giving us a grand total of 163. But to repeat myself, I'd be interested to hear if all y'all want to stay with 25-28 teams or bulk it up to 32-35. This is YOUR league. Take this opportunity to be heard. - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Quite easy Joe, when I formed the divisions, there were 143 registered teams and only 98 had paid their entry fees. 98 teams would not give us even 4 divisions of 25 so I took a chance and because people have trusted me over the past 10 years, I have allowed them to run at Daytona on the promise their entry fees will get to me before California. Sadly, we know not everyone who promises to follow up, WILL follow up. So the divisions are, shall we say, a little heavy in anticipation that I will be dropping those who do not get their entry fees to me this week. THAT SAID, if everyone was to submit their fees, then I would simply raise the Division Winners' share in the current 5 divisions. Take a minute and read the boldfaced entry below and that should help you further if this post is lacking. Oh, and when you win your division this first segment, Joe, you need to invite me over to your house for the second segment so we can party hearty! Now, back to the Ward Burton show! - Pup
Thu Feb 18 - Why are there 33 teams in the division this year when there has been 25 to 27 people per division in past years? - V-Lane Jersey Joe
Thu Feb 18 - I really do love and miss Ward's interviews, with that accent. That's probably why he isn't around in today's corporate spokesman role, but I truly love it - Mopar Blaze
Wed Feb 17 - He's still relevant, he's gonna be on Nascar Now this week, former Daytona 500 winner. I think you might have hurt someone's feelings with that post Pup, Outlaw is a sensitive guy, he might cry - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - Great News! We're up to 67 OCC teams and still more will be trickling in between now and Saturday. We should hit 70 teams without breaking a sweat. How many over 70 remains to be seen! The 2nd thru 4th place prizes are filling out nicely! Good luck to all the OCC'ers... - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - On my PRIZES page I made the statement that should we have less that 150 active teams this year that I was going to make a formal announcement as to what the prize amounts would be for the division winners. Tomorrow is that deadline. I'm here to tell you that we had a total of 22 teams (5 on Saturday, 17 on Sunday) register at the last minute. What I'm saying is we have less than 150 teams that have submitted fees so I'm going to give them until Monday, February 22nd to get their payments to me. After I have posted all payments, I will be happy to annouce the prizes for Division Winners. I have been in contact with most of the newbies and I am confident we will be in excellent shape to start the year, this crappy economy be damed! So stay tuned! - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - Some of you? Some of you??? Don't you mean ... aaaw, fuggitabouddit. You guys need to get a CURRENT driver to rip on. A few more years and we'll have team owners on here who never heard of Ward Burton! But I suppose it IS an inside joke and you two can have fun with that one until the cows come home. LOL (some of you might find that interesting...) You guys crack me up! - Pup
Tue Feb 16 - NASCAR Stat from LASTCAR website: Ward Burton is 7th on all-time list of last place finishes. Thought some of you might find that interesting - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - Hey Pup, that's almost identical to mine. Guess and I are in this SPECIAL contest - Mopar Blaze
Tue Feb 16 - thank you pup now got to keep it going for the big bucks lol - Navarreraiders#8
Tue Feb 16 - If you scored less than 641 points at the Daytona 500, there is a special contest I'm putting together and it will be covered nicely on the Nibbles 'n' Bits page in the 3rd column. Still working on the details but let me put it to ya this way. There's cash money involved! - Pup
Mon Feb 15 - The perfect score for Daytona looks something like this: Martin / Biffle / Dale Jr / Bowyer / McMurray / Menard. This sixpack would have fetched you 956 points. Congrats to Navarreraiders#8 with a high score of 890. - Pup
Mon Feb 15 - An EXCELLENT question. Let me help. Let's say you submit 4 line-ups for one race. Obviously, only the last line-up you submit is used for your official score for said race. I thought it would be FUN to see what each of your unused line-ups would have fetched you in terms of points. For instance, my next to last line-up for Daytona would have scored me 804 points. If you are one of those teams that got purged but want to play in 2010, not a problem. Head over to the registration page and fill out the form. Information for submitting your entry fees will come to you in the automatic email that is generated when you register. You will start out in Division #4 but know that I will be shuffling the stragglers between divisions 1 thru 5 right up until cut-off. - Pup
